This site has been set up for a group of friends who graduated
in 1977 and 1978 from the University of Wales Institute of
Science and Technology (UWIST).
The group is loosely based around students who studied BSc
Applied Biology (3-year and 4-year courses) along with others
who studied Pharmacy, Applied Science and Electronics.
Following the sterling efforts of Cynthia Charter (Hooper)
and Tim Harry in particular - instigated by Paul Trennery
- a group of ex-students attended a reunion in Cardiff in
2003.
We met for our '25 year' reunion on the weekend of 26/27
July staying at Senghennydd Hall and re-lived, at least in
part, the student experience.
